Mitsubishi Chemical America’s ALPOLIC Division, a leader in metal composite material (MCM) manufacturing, announced today the promotion of Paul Olson to Chief Operating Officer effective June 3, 2022. Olson will succeed retiring industry veteran, William “Bill” Yannetti, who has been with the company since 1989, before ALPOLIC manufacturing in the United States was launched.

“Bill has been a great mentor and leader for ALPOLIC. His knowledge, guidance, and vision have helped shape and cultivate an organization that is poised for continued success,” said Olson. “Bill is an inspiration and his impact and legacy with ALPOLIC and the entire architectural, engineering, and construction industry will be long lasting.”

Olson, who joined the company in 2001, has worked closely with Yannetti in various roles for ALPOLIC, with the most recent being Operations Director. Olson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, a Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University, and is currently a Doctoral of Business Administration candidate at Liberty University. He’s working on a research project case study titled “Organizational Benefits of Implementing a Balanced Scorecard Approach in a Manufacturing Organization to Support Business Strategy.”

“I look forward to the next chapter of my life but leave knowing the business I love and helped build is in very capable hands with Paul,” said Yannetti. “Now is a great time to make this transition, and I have the upmost confidence in his leadership and the unwavering resolve of our terrific employees. It’s an exciting time to be with ALPOLIC, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds.”
