CHRYSO & GCP (Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals), a worldwide leader in sustainable construction, is pleased to announce the opening of their new application lab in Chicago. The facility provides timely and valuable support to North American customers, further enhancing the company’s commitment to delivering superior customer service and technical expertise.
As one of the company’s multiple customer-centric investments across North America, the new application lab focuses on aggregate, mortar, and concrete testing. The facility will also serve as the dedicated technical center for Ductilcrete® engineered slab systems.
The Chicago lab’s testing capabilities provide customers with hands-on services to see how their materials perform with CHRYSO & GCP products and determine what admixtures and dosage rates will work best for their needs. The CHRYSO & GCP team utilizes the lab to work in partnership with customers in response to the challenges caused by the ever-changing materials used to produce concrete, cements, aggregates, and SCMs. This allows the technical team to deliver solutions to customers for optimized mixtures for increased sustainability and lower cost.
“Our new lab in Chicago is another significant milestone in the integration of CHRYSO and GCP within Saint-Gobain, bringing our esteemed technical expertise closer to our valued customers,” said Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals North America Senior Director of Innovation Gabor Acs. “As responsiveness and timely support is essential in our industry, we remain focused on growing our application lab network across the United States and Canada. The Chicago lab is another resource for our customers, giving them needed technical support, which enables them to make informed decisions and achieve optimal results.”
With the addition of the multi-purpose facility in Chicago, Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals North America now has multiple application labs in North America. The company plans to open additional laboratories across the United States and Canada. This expansion will ensure that North American customers have local access to newly integrated testing facilities and technical support.
