Earthen looks, clean lines, a return to simplicity, and continued commitment to sustainability dominated this year’s International Builders’ Show (IBS), which took place Feb. 25 to 27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The excitement was palpable this year, as building and design professionals from all over the world filled the halls for a very busy show.
“KBIS 2025 continues to drive sustainable design and construction, drawing over 124,000 attendees through Design & Construction Week (DCW), the co-location of the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)’s International Builders’ Show (IBS),” says Jason McGraw, group vice president of KBIS. “Among our nearly 700 exhibitors, we’re thrilled to showcase numerous brands that offer the latest in eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions. The strong turnout this year reflects the industry’s commitment to innovation, and the enthusiasm this year has been incredible, reinforcing the momentum behind green building.”
The enthusiasm this year has been incredible.
Next year’s shows will take place February 17 to 19, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
Here are some of the standout solutions we saw at IBS and KBIS in 2025.

NanaWall unveiled its latest innovations at KBIS—the Generation 4 MultiSlide Glass Wall, the Generation 4 Tilt Turn Window Series, and the Generation 4 Individual Swing Door that provides uniform glass lines and matching frames for all Generation 4 products. These new systems establish NanaWall as a one-stop resource for windows and doors.
Expanding the Generation 4 product family, the new NW MultiSlide 630 from NanaWall helps architects deliver a unified look while further emphasizing energy efficiency. “Our focus has always been on performance,” says Matt Thomas, director of marketing at NanaWall.
All of NanaWall’s products are engineered to operate in the most extreme conditions while delivering energy efficiency, security, and comfort.
The expansion of products is in direct response to architects’ needs, Thomas says. “Many architects told us over the years, ‘We’re using your folding product in this house, but we have to go to one of your competitors for the sliding product.’ The difference there is that you’d have our folding product, and you’d have somebody else’s sliding product. They don’t match; the colors don’t match. Now we can offer that entire comprehensive product line.”
Holographic Fireplace from Ortal

Ortal launched its first electric collection, Holographic. Photo courtesy of Ortal
Known for incredible control of fire, Ortal has now entered the electric fireplace market with the launch of its first electric collection, Holographic.
“At Ortal we are all about choice and being ahead of the market. There are certainly areas in the country where natural gas is not an option, and where heat off a fireplace isn’t what people need,” says Elizabeth Margles, CEO of Ortal North America. “Challenging our design team to ensure we had the best-in-market flame visuals was a lot of trial and trial, and we are so thrilled that we get to present the most advanced realistic-looking flame on the market with Ortal Holographic.”
This debut series integrates a new proprietary technology from the brand, with a cutting-edge feature that uses dual OLED-screen holographic projection to create the most lifelike 3D flames available, bringing unparalleled realism to the electric fireplace experience. Users can also easily operate the fireplace and turn Holographic off and on using an app.
This sustainable, zero-emissions solution provides another option for projects, with an eco-forward design and energy-efficient heat output of up to 5,120 BTU per hour. It’s also one of the shallowest models on the market, making it a great fit for integration in any space. Vent-free installation also eliminates the need for gas infrastructure, simplifying installation.

Tando Composites, a division of Derby Building Products, now includes the new ProBrick, an extension of the TandoStone line.
ProBrick is Tando’s latest composite brick and is a natural extension of our TandoStone composite stone offering, according to Ralph Bruno, CEO of Derby Building Products. “Adding ProBrick to our Stacked Stone and Creek Ledgestone TandoStone lines will continue to elevate our brand leadership. Our complete TandoStone line, now including ProBrick, meets the industry needs of a masonry product that the siding installer wants to install. The word composite has baked-in connotations as superior, and the receptivity is very high, but today’s consumer demands products that have authenticity and natural looks. That is what ProBrick delivers, along with faster, easier installation and no need for masons, scaffolds, or special tools; it installs in panels rather than painstaking individual bricks.”
Tando Composites’ products, including ProBrick, require less labor, faster job cycle times, and require virtually no upkeep, Bruno says. “Additionally, unlike concrete-based products, ProBrick is impervious to moisture.” ProBrick can also be recycled.
Derby Building Products manufactures Tando Composites in an ISO-certified plant in Quebec City and is the largest injection molder of composite cladding, Bruno says. “The composite technology creates products that are rigid, highly impact-resistant, with excellent thermal stability. The composite technology creates an ideal substrate for our state-of-the-art KAPGUARD by Kynar coating, a similar technology used in metal roofing. That said, the final product has the undeniable appearance of the natural brick with a color durability that is second to none.”
TandoStone ProBrick is available in two colors—Madeira, a rich, classic red, and Racinette, a deep, earthy brown. The ProBrick line also includes the aLL-Pro Corner, a one-piece corner designed to save time and labor no matter the project.
