The deadline for nominations for gb&d’s fifth annual Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards is today, Friday, August 4. WSLA 2018 will recognize recognize the achievements of female leaders who are making lasting change in green building and sustainability.
WSLA has been received by Hillary Clinton, Bea Perez (Coca-Cola), Angela Foster-Rice (United Airlines), Arielle Bertman(Google), and Jeanne Gang (Studio Gang Architects). The award is judged by gb&d magazine, the Women in Sustainability Leadership Alumnae group, and leadership at the USGBC.
The jury is looking for women that demonstrate the highest level of integrity and dedication to sustainability leadership. Entries can be self-nominated or can be nominated by a third-party. If submitting a third-party nomination, either the nominator or the nominee can send in the submission, but the nominee should be notified to answer the essay questions and provide a cover letter and resume.
